In the report, the Special Rapporteur presents a summary of the activities carried out during the second year of his mandate, including cooperation with other international and regional mechanisms in the field of indigenous rights, and the activities carried out in his four principal areas of work: promoting good practices; thematic studies; country reports; and communications relating to alleged human rights violations. The Special Rapporteur devotes the second half of the report to an analysis of corporate responsibility with respect to indigenous rights, in the framework of the international community’s expectations in that regard.
