Observer status for Partners in Population and Development in the General Assembly The General Assembly, Considering the importance of the work of Partners in Population and Development, Taking into account the importance of greater interaction among Partners in Population and Development, Member States, and relevant bodies, programmes and agencies of the United Nations in the area of population and development, Wishing to promote cooperation between the United Nations and Partners in Population and Development, 1. Decides to invite Partners in Population and Development to participate in the sessions and the work of the General Assembly in the capacity of observer; 2.
