58/258. Report of the Office of Internal Oversight Services
on the audit of the establishment and management
of mission subsistence allowance rates
The General Assembly,
Recalling its resolutions 48/218 B of 29 July 1994 and 54/244 of 23 December
1999,
Having considered the report of the Office of Internal Oversight Services on
the audit of the establishment and management of mission subsistence allowance
rates, 1
1.
Takes note of the report of the Office of Internal Oversight Services on
the audit of the establishment and management of mission subsistence allowance
rates;1
2.
Reaffirms its resolution 56/246 of 24 December 2001, in particular
paragraph 8;
3.
Requests the Secretary-General to entrust the Office of Internal Oversight
Services with the submission of an updated report on the question of mission
subsistence allowance rates to the General Assembly at the second part of its
resumed fifty-eighth session.
