Decides that the fifty-second session of the General Assembly shall close on Tuesday, 8 September 1998, and that the fifty-third session of the General Assembly shall open on Wednesday, 9 September 1998; 2. Also decides that the International Day of Peace shall continue to be observed on the opening day of the regular session; 3.
