Scale of assessments for the apportionment of the expenses of the United Nations The General Assembly, Recalling its resolutions 54/237 C of 23 December 1999, 57/4 B of 20 December 2002, 59/1 A of 11 October 2004, 59/1 B of 23 December 2004 and 59/312 of 14 July 2005, Recalling also rule 160 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, Having considered the report of the Committee on Contributions on the work of its sixty-fifth session, 1 Having also considered the letter dated 12 October 2005 from the President of the General Assembly addressed to the Chairman of the Fifth Committee, 2 Having further considered the report of the Secretary-General on multi-year payment plans, 3 Reaffirming the obligation of all Member States under Article 17 of the Charter of the United Nations to bear the expenses of the Organization as apportioned by the General Assembly, A 1. Reaffirms its role in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 of the Charter and the advisory role of the Committee on Contributions in accordance with rule 160 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly; 2. Also reaffirms its resolution 54/237 C; 3.
