Linguistic qualifications in the context of the performance
appraisal system and the recruitment and promotion policy;
(xi)
The feasibility of holding the national competitive examinations
in the six official languages, including proposals to ensure that
nationals of Member States whose mother tongue is not an official
language of the United Nations are not placed at a disadvantage;
(xii)
Mobility;
(xiii) The efforts made by the Secretary-General to achieve the level of
70 per cent of permanent appointments in posts subject to
geographical distribution;
(xiv)
Detailed proposals for the implementation of a dual-track system
of career and non-career appointments;
