At the 16th meeting, on 17 March 2001, the Vice-Chairperson of the Commission with rapporteurial responsibilities, Atsuko Nishimura (Japan), introduced the draft report of the Commission on its forty-fifth session (E/CN.6/2001/L.7). 2. At the same meeting, the Commission adopted the draft report and entrusted the Rapporteur with its completion. 58
