- [Expresses deep concern about the persistence of the practices of the sale of children, child slavery and sexual exploitation of children in prostitution and pornography, and calls upon all States:] To contribute to the prevention and elimination of the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography by adopting a holistic approach, addressing the contributing factors, including underdevelopment, poverty, economic disparities, inequitable socioeconomic structures, dysfunctional families, lack of education, urban-rural migration, gender discrimination, criminal or irresponsible adult sexual behaviour, child sex tourism, organized crime, armed conflicts and trafficking in children;
