Takes note of paragraph 47 of the report of the Secretary-General, 2 commends the Secretary-General for his continued efforts to reduce the backlog in the publication of the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs, and endorses the efforts of the Secretary-General to eliminate the backlog in the publication of the Repertoire of the Practice of the Security Council; 5. Invites the Special Committee at its session in 2002 to continue to identify new subjects for consideration in its future work with a view to contributing to the revitalization of the work of the United Nations; 6. Takes note of the readiness of the Special Committee, in the context of its consideration of the subject of assistance to working groups on the revitalization of the work of the United Nations and coordination between the Special Committee and other working groups dealing with the reform of the Organization, to provide, within its mandate, such assistance as may be sought at the request of other subsidiary bodies of the General Assembly in relation to any issues before them; 7. Requests the Special Committee to submit a report on its work to the General Assembly at its fifty-seventh session; 8.
