At the 16th meeting, on 17 March, the Vice-Chairperson of the Commission, Mankeur Ndiaye (Senegal) reported on the outcome of consultations held on agenda item 4 (b) and introduced draft agreed conclusions on the sub-item, which were contained in an informal paper. 25. At the same meeting, following a statement by the representative of Mexico, the Commission adopted the draft agreed conclusions on gender and all forms of discrimination, in particular racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance and requested their endorsement by the Economic and Social Council (see chap.
