Requests the expert mechanism to seek input from relevant stakeholders, including from indigenous peoples’ organizations, Member States, relevant international and regional organizations, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, national human rights institutions and civil society organizations, including non-governmental organizations, for the preparation of their work; 7. Requests the Special Rapporteur, the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and the expert mechanism to continue to carry out their tasks in a coordinated manner; 8. Suggests that the General Assembly adjust the mandate of the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Populations to take into account Council resolution 5/1, in particular the creation of the expert mechanism on the rights of indigenous peoples; 9. Encourages those States that have not yet done so to consider ratifying or acceding to the Convention concerning Indigenous and Tribal Peoples in Independent Countries of the International Labour Organization; 10. Decides to continue consideration of this question at a future session in conformity with its annual programme of work. -----
