- The Commission on the Status of Women also welcomes the convening of the Second World Assembly on Ageing, and stresses the importance of mainstreaming a gender perspective into the preparations, work and outcome, including the Political Declaration and International Plan of Action of the Assembly, welcomes the involvement of all women in its work, and encourages the inclusion of women in delegations to the Assembly.
