Also requests the Secretary-General to ensure that the Special Rapporteur can attend the meetings of the Commission on the Status of Women, the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women and relevant United Nations conferences, especially the Fourth World Conference on Women; 7. Urges the Secretary-General, in cooperation with the Special Rapporteur, to give publicity to the Rapporteur’s work and to disseminate the Rapporteur’s findings and conclusions widely; 8. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Commission at its thirty-ninth session on the activities of the United Nations bodies and institutions concerned with crime prevention with regard to the question of violence against women; 9.
