19. Urges donors, and invites international financial institutions and regional
development banks, within their respective mandates, to review and implement
policies that support national efforts to increase resources to women, in particular in
rural and remote areas;
20. Requests the Secretary-General to report on the implementation of the
present resolution to the Commission on the Status of Women at its fiftieth session.

Assembly, with an assessment of progress made in mainstreaming a gender

(b) Report of the Secretary-General on the situation of and assistance to
Palestinian women;57
(c) Report of the Secretary-General on the situation of women and girls in
Afghanistan;58
(d) Report of the Secretary-General on the joint work plan of the Division
