Report of the Working Group of Experts on People of
African Descent
Summary
The present report is submitted in accordance with General Assembly
resolution 70/140, paragraph 8, and Human Rights Council resolution 27/25,
paragraph 4, in which the Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent
was requested to submit an annual report to the Council on all activities relating to
its mandate, as well as to the Assembly in the context of the International Decade for
People of African Descent. The present report covers activities undertaken during the
period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.
