E/2006/27 E/CN.6/2006/15 Chapter V Provisional agenda for the fifty-first session of the Commission 1. The Commission considered item 6 of the agenda at its resumed 14th meeting, on 16 March 2006. It had before it a note by the Secretariat containing the draft provisional agenda for the fifty-first session of the Commission (E/CN.6/2006/L.7). 2. At the same meeting, the Secretary orally revised the draft provisional agenda to include the titles of the following documents: (a) Report of the Secretary-General on elimination of all forms of discrimination and violence against the girl-child (item 3 (a)); (b) Report of the Secretary-General on progress in mainstreaming a gender perspective in the development, implementation and evaluation of national policies and programmes, with a particular focus on the priority theme (item 3 (c)). 3. Also at the resumed 14th meeting, the Commission recommended the draft provisional agenda for its fifty-first session, as orally revised, for adoption by the Economic and Social Council (see chap. 1, sect.
