It had before it the following documents: (a) Letter dated 8 December 2015 from the President of the Economic and Social Council to the Chair of the Commission on the Status of Women (E/CN.6/2016/11); (b) Note by the Secretariat on the contribution by the Commission on the Status of Women to the work of the Economic and Social Council ( E/CN.6/2016/12). 126.
