Welcomes the decision by the Economic and Social Council to request the Special Rapporteur on Disability of the Commission for Social Development, in monitoring the implementation of the Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities, to pay special attention to children with disabilities and the invitation to enhance the cooperation between the Special Rapporteur and the Committee on the Rights of the Child, and requests the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the United Nations Children's Fund to work closely with him;
