Report of the Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons
with disabilities
Summary
In the present report, the Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with
disabilities examines the challenges experienced by girls and young women with
disabilities in relation to their sexual and reproductive health and rights, and provides
guidance to States on how to ensure legal and policy frameworks that support their
autonomy and address the structural factors that expose them to violence, abuse and
other harmful practices.
