Report of the Working Group of Experts on People
of African Descent
Summary
The report is submitted in accordance with resolution 69/162 of the General
Assembly, by which the Assembly requested the Human Rights Council, through the
Chair of the Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent, to submit a
report on the work of the Working Group to the Assembly, and resolution 27/25 of
the Council, by which the Council requested the Working G roup to submit an annual
report to the Council on all activities relating to its mandate, as well as to the
Assembly in the context of the International Decade for People of African Descent.
The report covers activities undertaken during the period from 1 July 2014 to
30 June 2015.
