Stresses the need to ensure respect for the right to freedom of expression and the right to freedom of thought, conscience or belief, while noting with concern recent attempts to limit freedom of expression and to intimidate journalists, and condemns cases of the abduction and even killing of journalists by terrorist as well as extremist and criminal groups;
