68/138. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of
Discrimination against Women
The General Assembly,
Recalling its resolution 66/131 of 19 December 2011,
1.
Welcomes the report of the Secretary-General on the status of the
Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women; 1
2.
Also welcomes the report of the Committee on the Elimination of
Discrimination against Women on its fifty-second to fifty-fourth sessions; 2
3.
Invites the Chair of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination
against Women to address and to engage in an interactive dialogue with the General
Assembly at its sixty-ninth and seventieth sessions under the item on the
advancement of women;
Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its
4.
seventieth session a report on the status of the Convention.
