Commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Declaration of the Four Nations on General Security The General Assembly, Recalling the adoption in Moscow on 30 October 1943 of the Declaration of the Four Nations on General Security, which, inter alia, called for the establishment at the earliest practicable date of a general international organization, based on the principle of the sovereign equality of all peaceloving States and open to membership by all such States, large or small, for the maintenance of international peace and security, Decides to commemorate in its plenary meeting on 1 November 1993 the fiftieth anniversary of the Declaration of the Four Nations on General Security of 30 October 1943. 32nd plenary meeting 19 October 1993
