We also recognize the value of the model treaties on international cooperation in criminal matters as important tools for the development of international cooperation, and we invite the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to call upon the United Nations Centre for International Crime Prevention to update the Compendium of United Nations Standards and Norms in Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in order to provide the most up-to-date versions of the model treaties to States seeking to utilize them.
