Council on the rights of indigenous peoples
Summary
The present report is submitted to the General Assembly by the Special
Rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples pursuant to Human Rights Council
resolution 33/12. It provides a brief summary of her activities since her previous
report and an assessment, informed by experiences of her mandate, on the status of
implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous
Peoples for the occasion of its tenth anniversary.
