Also requests the Secretary-General to transmit the Model Strategies and Practical Measures to the relevant United Nations organizations and bodies, such as the Commission on the Status of Women, the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, the Commission on Human Rights, including the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, and the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on violence against women, its causes and its consequences, and invites those organizations and bodies to develop strategies and practical measures on the elimination of violence against women in their areas of expertise;
