Note by the Secretariat
In her report, prepared pursuant to Human Rights Council resolutions 7/13 and 25/6,
the Special Rapporteur on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography
provides an overview of her activities since her previous report, which was presented to the
Human Rights Council in March 2016. It also contains a thematic study on illegal
adoptions and recommendations on how to prevent and combat that phenomenon.
