Summary
The present report outlines the main activities undertaken by the Special
Rapporteur on the human rights of internally displaced persons since his last report
to the General Assembly.
The thematic section considers positive practices in governa nce structures and
institutional arrangements for preventing and managing responses to the different
stages of internal displacement that can be replicated in different situations while
being adapted to national and local contexts.
