The Special Rapporteur also welcomes the initiatives taken by various stakeholders on the issue of the protection of journalists in armed conflict, including United Nations bodies and organizations such as the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and UNESCO. The Special Rapporteur encourages all relevant United Nations entities to coordinate their activities and responses.
