70/131. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of
Discrimination against Women
The General Assembly,
Recalling its resolution 68/138 of 18 December 2013,
1.
Welcomes the report of the Secretary-General on the status of the
Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women; 1
2.
Also welcomes the report of the Committee on the Elimination of
Discrimination against Women on its fifty-eighth to sixtieth sessions; 2
3.
Invites the Chair of the Committee to address and to engage in an
interactive dialogue with the General Assembly at its seventy-first and seventysecond sessions under the item on the advancement of women;
4.
Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its
seventy-second session a report on the status of the Convention.
