Requests the Secretary-General to take the necessary measures with a view to ensuring the deployment of military personnel and the provision of adequate resources to the Mission without any unnecessary delay; 3. Decides to reduce the commitment authority provided for in its resolution 54/260 A of 7 April 2000, totalling 200 million United States dollars gross (199,760,000 dollars net) for the operation of the Mission for the period from 6 August 1999 to 30 June 2000, to the amount of 58,681,000 dollars gross (58,441,000 dollars net); 4. Authorizes the Secretary-General to enter into commitments for the operation of the Mission for the period from 1 July 2000 to 30 June 2001 in an amount not exceeding 141,319,000 dollars gross (140,827,100 dollars net), which represents the difference between the commitment authority provided for in its resolution 54/260 A for the period from 6 August 1999 to 30 June 2000 and the reduced commitment authority provided for in paragraph 3 above; 5. Reiterates its request to the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly, in September 2000, a comprehensive report on the financing of the Mission, including full budget estimates and information on the utilization of resources up to the time of the submission of the report, to enable the Assembly to take action on it at the main part of its fifty-fifth session. 98th plenary meeting 15 June 2000
