The Commission on the Status of Women reaffirms the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, 1 the outcome documents of the twenty-third special session of the General Assembly 2 and the declarations adopted by the Commission on the occasion of the tenth, fifteenth, twentieth and twenty-fifth anniversaries of the Fourth World Conference on Women, and stresses the need to further strengthen their implementation. 2.
