Inclusive policies and programmes to address homelessness, including in the aftermath of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) The General Assembly, Recalling its previous resolution 76/133 on the inclusive policies and programmes to address homelessness, including in the aftermath of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), adopted on 16 December 2021, Recalling also the World Summit for Social Development, held in Copenhagen from 6 to 12 March 1995, and the twenty-fourth special session of the General Assembly, entitled “World Summit for Social Development and beyond: achieving social development for all in a globalizing world”, held in Geneva from 26 June to 1 July 2000, and their outcomes, Reaffirming that the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and the Programme of Action of the World Summit for Social Development 1 and the further initiatives for social development adopted by the General Assembly at its twenty fourth special session 2 constitute the basic framework for the promotion of social development for all with people at the centre, and encouraging the continued global dialogue on social development issues, Recalling the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, 3 which, inter alia, recognizes the right of everyone to an adequate standard of living including adequate food, clothing and housing, and to the continuous improvement of living conditions, __________________ 1 2 3 23-25973 (E) Report of the World Summit for Social Development, Copenhagen, 6 –12 March 1995 (United Nations publication, Sales No. E.96.IV.8), chap.
