Demande aux États de promouvoir et de protéger le droit des femmes et des filles à l’égalité d’accès à l’éducation en mettant davantage l’accent sur un enseignement primaire et secondaire gratuit et de qualité, prévoyant notamment des programmes de rattrapage scolaire et d’alphabétisation pour celles qui n’ont pas suivi un enseignement de type classique ou qui ont quitté précocement l’école, en particulier parce qu’elles se sont mariées ou ont eu un enfant, et permettant aux jeunes femmes et aux filles de prendre des décisions en connaissance de cause sur leur vie, leur emploi, leurs débouchés économiques et leur santé, y compris dans le cadre d’une éducation complète, scientifiquement exacte, adaptée à leur âge et respectueuse de leur culture, qui offre aux adolescents et aux jeunes des deux sexes, scolarisés ou non, des informations tenant compte de l’évolution de leurs capacités concernant la santé sexuelle et procréative, l’égalité des sexes et l’autonomisation des femmes, les droits fondamentaux, le développement physique et physiologique, la puberté et les rapports de force dans les relations entre les hommes et les femmes, en vue de renforcer leur estime de soi, de développer leur aptitude à prendre des décisions éclairées, à communiquer et à maîtriser les risques et de favoriser des relations respectueuses, en partenariat étroit avec les jeunes, leurs parents, leurs tuteurs, ceux qui s’occupent d’eux, les éducateurs et les prestataires de soins de santé, afin de progresser vers l’élimination des mariages d’enfants, des mariages précoces et des mariages forcés ;

Rappelle qu’il faut adopter des stratégies propres à prévenir et éliminer la consommation nocive d’alcool et de substances illicites, selon une approche globale et axée sur les droits de l’homme, et informer, éduquer et conseiller sur les effets de la consommation de drogues, mais rappelle aussi l’importance que revêtent le soutien de la famille et le soutien scolaire dans la prévention de cette consommation et le traitement, la réadaptation et la réinsertion des enfants et des adolescents ayant des problèmes de toxicomanie;
