Report of the Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with
disabilities*
Summary
In the present report, submitted to the Human Rights Council pursuant to Council
resolution 44/10, the Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with disabilities, Gerard
Quinn, provides an overview of the activities undertaken in 2020, and describes his vision of
the mandate during his tenure.
* Agreement was reached to publish the present report after the standard publication date owing to
circumstances beyond the submitter’s control.
