Requests the Secretary-General, through the Office for the Coordination
of Humanitarian Affairs, to continue work on the modalities for the utilization of the
standby disaster relief unit by the United Nations system;
5.
Also requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at
its fifty-seventh session on the progress made in the implementation of the present
resolution.
